In today’s episode, I am talking with special guest Stephen Ferrara together with previous guest Anna. Stephen is a practicing family nurse practitioner and executive director at the NY Nurse Practitioner Association. He is passionate about the profession and sharing the abundance of opportunities available to all NPs.
During our conversation, Stephen talks about his transition from an RN to a DNP, how he is able to work with other NPs to effect change in an evidence-based way, and the intersection between state licenses, federal laws, and patient care.
